15 MILES – 55 MILES – 85 MILES – 100 MILES
The Sanofi Surrey Classic Bike Ride 2015 has a challenge for all abilities and will have four different routes covering the beautiful Surrey countryside on Sunday 28th June 2015. The four one day rides are designed for all cycling enthusiasts, sportsmen and women who want to take on a challenge and at the same time raise some much appreciated funds for charity. Participants in the rides will have all food and support provided on route. The Sanofi Surrey Classic support team aim to take care of everything, so that riders can just concentrate on the event and enjoy the personal challenge ahead of them.
The 2014 event started and finished at Esher Rugby Club, where they were cheered across the line by hundreds of supporters after their fantastic achievement, collecting their thoroughly well deserved medals in the process. We are in the process of confirming the venue for 2015 at the moment and will be announcing it shortly.
All pit stops will be hosted by our fantastic volunteers, all ready and waiting to recharge riders’ batteries with plenty of food, drinks and the hospitality that only the Sanofi Surrey Classic Bike Ride can give. This new and exciting event is designed for all competitors to have fun, meet new friends and get a real sense of achievement by competing in and finishing one of the Surrey Classic fantastic routes.
If you think you have what it takes, to take on one of the Surrey Classic routes then sign up now and we will see you on Sunday 28th June 2015.
The 2014 event raised funds for Esher Rugby player Paul Barker, who unfortunately had to have a leg amputated last year. For those of you that want to raise funds for your own charity or just ride in the event then please free to do so.
John Inverdale, who rode the Surrey Classic Bike Ride in 2014:
“I look forward to joining you all on the CHK Mountford Surrey Classic Bike Ride and supporting Paul Barker.”

“It’s great to see the rugby community rallying behind their own again, the amazing support I received after my accident was overwhelming and continues to this day through my Foundation. I’m delighted we are able to be in a position to help Paul and I’m sure he will be able to help lots of others in the future by inspiring others who find themselves in a similar position. I wish all who take part in the bike ride every success and I’m sure in true rugby tradition you will all enjoy the rehydration afterwards!”

“I knew Paul from my time on loan at Esher, he is a true character and Esher Legend I hope the rugby community gets behind this event and supports Paul through this tough time and wish all the riders the best of luck.”
